What we can do to overcome some of the hidden barriers we face:
* Stay informed
* Start, and maintain, a pension early so that you can gain from compound interst
* Own your numbers - Ensure you prioritise yourself, and your financial wellbeing. Nobody else can manage your life like you can. Nobody knows you like you know yourself.
* Dont put other people's welfare ahead of your own
* Plan and prioritise your long term wellbeing
