Its possible to claim a pension if you worked in the UK as well as Ireland. This pension is paid in addition to any Republic of Ireland state pension.

It may be posssible to backdate National Insurance (UK) or PRSI (ROI) contributions to make up for missed contribution (tax-paying) years in each country.
